3 Alternatives to Quitting Nursing

Have you felt like quitting lately? which one of these 3 strategies you plan to implement.

1. 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸.

🩺 Sometimes you just need to step away. For a day, a week, or even longer!
🩺 One of the best ways to get re-inspired is to take a break. Go on vacation! Use your PTO, nurses!

2. 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗳 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱.

🩺 Knowing when and how to pivot in nursing is tricky - it's important not to burn bridges and to be intentional. That said, consider exploring an alternative specialty or educational pathway before quitting nursing!

3. 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺.

🩺 Consider this: if you leave nursing altogether, will you feel fulfilled in your purpose?
🩺 While addressing the underlying problem head on is understandably a difficult alternative, it can be a rewarding one.

Self-reflection is essential for all of us, no matter how satisfied we may or may not feel in our careers currently. Which of the 3 strategies will you consider as you self-reflect?
